Sad Sack Comics #162
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeHarvey's lovable army misfit is back in issue #162 of Sad Sack, cover-dated February 1965 and "loved by millions." George Baker's cover captures the chaos perfectly: Sad Sack and a couple of fellow soldiers in yellow uniforms have turned a ping-pong match into a full-blown disaster, with one hapless player getting whacked right in the face — a "WHACK" sound effect says it all — while their little dog Mutsy wanders obliviously underneath the table. It's the kind of warm, goofy slapstick that made this series a staple of mid-'60s Harvey Comics humor.
