In "Camp Warfare," Sarge sentences Sack and Slob to two weeks of camp confinement as punishment, only for them to unexpectedly find themselves enjoying the routine and recreation more than they expected. When their time is up and they’re finally free to leave, they’re caught red-handed trying to sneak back in through the fence—still hooked on camp life.

In "Brass Banned," the General, striving to channel the legendary voice of Stentor, overdoes his military oratory and accidentally loses his voice just as he’s set to address the troops in front of a visiting congressman. Now unable to speak, he must find a way to maintain command and impress the dignitary—without uttering a single word.

In "Bad Connection," Sadie and Gertie man the night shift in Supply when the Sarge calls, frantic about her TV being out. Mishearing "fuse" as "shoes," Sadie rushes to deliver a box of size 12 footwear—only to face the furious Sgt. Blast, who had no idea what she was talking about.

In "The Shoelace," Sad Sack is sent on a routine errand into town, only to forget the parking brake on the jeep—setting off a chain of chaos when it rolls into a truck of explosives and ignites a fire. Now, with the mess to clean up and the general demanding another trip into town, Sad Sack’s day just keeps getting worse.
