After spending six months in the hospital following a plane crash that had almost cost him his life, Dick is asked to pilot a small plane to break the London-Capetown record. Laura is concerned that Dick hasn't recovered enough to attempt the flight and asks Greg to do something. Greg stages a fight with Dick and takes his place on the flight. When the plane goes down, Dick spears the rescue effort in rebel territory.
