Venus, a rising young pop singer, is stranded with a broken-down car less than fifty minutes from a TV rehearsal. She stops Mike on his motor bike, but he doesn't offer to give her a ride. While he is looking at her car, Venus rides off on his motor bike. Despite their rocky start, they soon fall in love. Mike thinks the songs she has to sing are lousy and offers to write her a better one. But the powers-that-be don't want her to select her own songs.
