Two small figures — a boy and a girl — stand amid the rubble of a shattered cityscape, gazing up at an enormous dormant red mech that dominates the ruins around them. The contrast between the children's quiet stillness and the colossal machine's scale gives the cover a haunting, contemplative atmosphere that sets Marazano and Shang's series apart from louder sci-fi fare. This 2020 Dargaud release looks to be a striking penultimate chapter in the S.A.M. saga.
