Runaways #37

That single word — "Gert!" — says everything about the tension radiating from this cover by Kris Anka, where the Runaways crew (plus a very alarmed black cat and Old Lace looming ominously in the background) stare wide-eyed at something just out of frame. Rainbow Rowell, Andrés Genolet, and Dee Cunniffe bring the sixth chapter of "Come Away with Me" to a head, and the mix of shock, dread, and that one deadpan team member keeping her composure makes for a wonderfully expressive ensemble moment. If you've been following this arc, issue #37 looks like exactly the kind of gut-punch chapter you've been bracing for.
