Rumble #13

James Harren's artwork gives this issue of Rumble a moody, atmospheric weight — a red-clad, helmeted figure clutches a blade while navigating a shadowy, overgrown chasm, while a lone dog watches from a ledge above, the two figures dwarfed by the oppressive darkness around them. Dave Stewart's deep blues and greens make the flickers of red pop with an almost eerie intensity, lending the whole scene a sense of genuine dread. If you've been following John Arcudi's series, this cover promises the brooding mythic tension the book does so well.
