Rulah Jungle Goddess #22

Rulah, the jungle goddess, confronts a man-thing creature named Tyrr who seeks to steal her away from her lover, offering to exchange his mate's life for Rulah's in the spirit world. After a fierce battle, Tyrr is killed by Rulah's hand, and she escapes to find her human love, Ellen, who has died of fright. Rulah returns Ellen's body to the jungle with a leather heart symbolic of their love, and Zago, the jungle prince, pursues Rulah, capturing her and threatening to make her his bride by holding her prisoner in his palace.
