Rulah #19
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe issue contains two stories. "Jungle Goddess" features a red-clad female character battling against a mad scientist's explosion plot, with dialogue indicating she must prevent him from detonating a device in a remote location. In the "Rulah" story, the jungle goddess encounters strange blue creatures attacking her camp and must use fire to fight off the threat; after defeating the creatures, a tribal council convenes to plan against an evil enemy, with a character named Tagori warning of the need for unity to triumph against the threat.
When jungle natives flee in terror from flaming red demons rising from the earth, Rulah alone suspects the supernatural threat is actually a man-made scheme—and a sinister one at that. A war-hungry foreign agent and his international spy ring have infiltrated the jungle with experimental weapons, and it's going to take all of Rulah's cunning and strength to expose their deadly plot and protect her people. With danger closing in from every angle, the jungle goddess must outthink a ruthless enemy before their conquest scheme claims everyone she cares about.
Rulah encounters a famous hunter and his wife during a jungle visit, but when animals begin stalking and killing men in the region, she discovers a darker plot at work—one rooted in greed and desperation. With her adopted people and her loyal companion Saber at her side, Rulah must uncover who's behind "The Stalking Death" before the jungle's violence claims more victims.
A power-mad witch doctor commands a fearful tribe and conjures grotesque creatures called the Plazma to enforce her will—until Rulah discovers the monsters' fatal weakness and sets out to stop the dark sorcery before more maidens are sacrificed. Facing fire-born horrors and a dangerous enemy from her own past, the jungle goddess must navigate deadly traps and a burning village to end the witch doctor's reign of terror. With her loyal companion Saber at her side, Rulah fights to save her people from an evil that threatens to consume the entire jungle.
