Meredith Finch and Ig Guara's fantasy series charges into its sixteenth issue with a cover that puts two warriors front and center — a fierce red-haired young fighter in battered armor grips her sword with unmistakable resolve, while a hulking, pale-haired figure looms close behind, dark wings spreading across the composition. Ig Guara's linework gives the scene real weight and tension, the crossed blades and dynamic poses suggesting these two are either reluctant allies or something far more complicated. If you've been following Rose through Image, this issue looks like exactly the kind of confrontational turning point the series does so well.
