Roots of the Swamp Thing #4

Part four of five in this 1986 reprint series, "Roots of the Swamp Thing" brings together two of DC's most compelling figures on a striking Bernie Wrightson cover: the massive, moss-covered Swamp Thing lunges from a high-rise window against a glittering city skyline, while Batman descends on a line in the lower corner — setting up a tension-filled nocturnal encounter above the rooftops. Wrightson's linework gives both figures tremendous physical presence, with Swamp Thing's luminous green bulk contrasting sharply against the cool blue-purple of the urban night.
