This 1987 Belgian album from Novedi brings another adventure of Ronnie Hansen to life, this time centered on a story whose title — "Het huis met de aalscholver," or "The House with the Cormorant" — promises mystery with a distinctly atmospheric, coastal feel. Raymond Reding, handling both pencils and inks on the cover, lends his characteristic ligne claire craft to the series, working from a script by Françoise Hugues. A fine entry in this understated and charming Franco-Belgian series.
