The fourth volume of Rommelgem arrives with one of the most striking covers of 2025: a close-up of a mustachioed man in a wide-brimmed hat, his round tinted glasses reflecting a pair of fiery explosions against a churning amber sky. Etien's cover art radiates slow-burning menace, the warm orange palette and radiating brushwork giving the whole image an almost feverish intensity. Written by Béka and drawn by David Etien, "Zwarte Jaren" — Dark Years — promises the kind of morally charged atmosphere that the title alone conjures.
