Romeo #30 November 1963
In "Plain Jane," a quiet farm girl arrives in London hoping to leave her past behind, only to find her old insecurities resurfacing when she falls for Steve, a coworker. When she catches him kissing a glamorous typist, his casual dismissal of the girl stirs painful memories of being called "Plain Jane" — a label that still lingers, even in the city.
