“The Day I Fell in Love”

In "The Day I Fell in Love," Francesc Monjo's expressive art brings to life a poignant moment in Linda’s life, where a car accident changes everything—her looks, her relationships, and her understanding of true friendship. As Linda grapples with the aftermath, she finds herself reevaluating the people around her, especially Johnny and Adam, in ways she never expected.

Linda never had trouble getting dates and found it funny that Jenny was worried she would try to take Adam away from her, especially when there were guys like Johnny around. But Linda and Jenny are hospitalized after a car accident and Linda's face is scarred. Johnny keeps turning his face away and eventually stops coming to see her. But Adam continues to see Jenny and Linda realizes just how nice he really was.
