"Vacation Romance" follows a blonde woman named Larry who receives flowers from her boyfriend, only to have him leave town for work, leaving her uncertain about their future together. "Forbidden Love" depicts Karen, a woman with red hair working in an office, who becomes romantically involved with her boss Bill Grissom, but must grapple with the complications and moral concerns of their workplace relationship. "Good Old Harry" features a woman named Vicki who reflects on her past with Harry Wayne, a man from her hometown who loved her, while she pursued excitement and ambition in the city, ultimately realizing what she may have lost.
Marie Hessler arrives at a luxurious resort posing as a wealthy heiress, where she meets Dale Brown, a charming man who invites her on a romantic sail. As their brief vacation unfolds, shared moments under the moonlight deepen their connection, but secrets begin to surface when a sudden storm forces honesty between them.
Judy is smitten with Larry, who’s painfully shy despite his affection for her, and worries she’ll never get him to take the next step. When Larry finally arrives with flowers, their moment is interrupted by a sudden, impulsive kiss that leaves him flustered and fleeing—only to return moments later, claiming he’s just gone for more flowers.
Miss Brown, a schoolteacher, finds herself drawn to Mr. Nester, the charming father of her young student Billy, despite knowing he is married. As their encounters grow more personal, she struggles with guilt and confusion, especially when she realizes he is Billy’s uncle—making their connection deeply complicated.
Karen, the diligent office worker, finds herself increasingly aware of her feelings for her boss, Walter Grissom, as he grows more attentive to the glamorous Miss Wilde. When Walter finally acknowledges Karen’s beauty and companionship, she is overwhelmed—only to be shattered when he later demands she book a romantic weekend getaway for himself and Miss Wilde, forcing her to confront the painful truth of her unreciprocated love.
Judy is startled when a neighborhood boy named Jo-Jo claims to read secrets through a crystal globe, revealing she’s in love with Larry Maxton—someone she’s never confessed her feelings to. Larry, who has been silently harboring the same secret, steps forward to reveal he’s loved her all along.
Vicki leaves Cardale chasing fame and glamour in the city, convinced she can escape her small-town roots, while Harry Wayne remains steadfastly loyal, quietly supporting her from afar. When her dreams collapse and she finds herself broke and stranded, Harry appears unexpectedly, offering help not out of obligation, but love—revealing he’s cherished her all along.
