Romantic Marriage #5

This issue presents three separate romantic stories. "Marriage of Convenience" follows a woman named Miss Burton who inherits a wheat farm and discovers her grandfather's will stipulates she must marry attorney Ben Holmes to claim it; when a fire breaks out at the farm, Ben rushes into danger to save her, and they realize their marriage of convenience has become genuine love. "The Fight for Love" depicts a woman named Della Stacey caught between her husband Cedric and a man named Roger who threatens to expose Cedric's past unless she leaves him; Della chooses to stand by her husband, deciding to face their troubles together rather than be swayed by blackmail. The final story, told through a woman's monologue, describes how her initially ideal marriage to Roger became torn by jealousy and strife after six months, leading her to contemplate whether she should confess a secret to save it.
