"Thrill Crazy" follows a woman yearning for the excitement of big city life who becomes involved in a perfume counterfeiting scheme with a man named Andy. When Andy brings in a chemist named Arthur Hardy with a plan to duplicate expensive perfumes and sell them cheaply, the woman initially goes along with the illicit business. After a brief romantic interlude, the woman grows frightened and leaves the city to stay at Harkness Hall, where she encounters a man named Tommy Gregg at a cliff overlook; his cryptic parting words—"now what did he mean by that?"—suggest she remains troubled by her past involvement in the scheme.
