Dana wins a beauty pageant and moves to New York to become a model. A veteran model warns her that all men think models are "easy." Dana falls in love with Burt, then learns he's married. Burt's brother-in-law Ron helps Dana get a television job; they date, and fall in love. Burt shows up at Dana's apartment unexpectedly and Ron catches them together; Burt is accidentally injured when he and Ron fight. The scandal costs Dana her job. She goes back home, but Ron follows and says he now knows she didn't invite Burt to her apartment. Dana and Ron will marry.
