Romantic Confessions v1 #2

This is an anthology of romantic confession stories. The first story follows a woman named Anne whose relationship unravels when her boyfriend's aunt disapproves of her; after he returns unexpectedly from a business trip while she's entertaining servants in the house, she despairs that all her hopes are lost. The second story, "My Wonderful Mistake," depicts a college-aged woman who feels like an outsider and is smitten with the athletic Steve Hannar, a star swimmer and football player; she attempts to get his attention but struggles with her invisibility to him at school. The issue concludes with additional romantic tales exploring themes of love, class differences, and personal disappointment.
