Struggling artist Steve reluctantly allows his girlfriend Carol to become his agent. However, he learns she has been passing off his work as her own to impress interior decorator Murdock. She tells Steve that she intends to make the wealthy Murdock fall in love with her. Meanwhile, Steve is approached by a mysterious woman named Anne, who goes out with him but refuses to reveal anything about herself. As it turns out, Anne is actually Murdock's client Helen, and he had been romancing her until he met Carol. Both Carol and Murdock’s schemes are exposed. Helen and Steve are in love.
