While shooting a scene where an actress appears to be drinking from a poisoned glass, it turns out that the poison was real. The doctor is called in time to save Leda's life, but the police start investigating the attempted poisoning. During the investigation it is revealed that numerous people had motives for attempting to kill Leda.
