Ninette was a world-famous singing star nicknamed 'The Flash' due to her frenetic activity both on and off stage. She feels contempt when a policeman gives her a ticket for driving dangerously. The policeman is a fan of hers and decides to give up his job to become a songwriter. Ninette wants nothing to do with him, but eventually his songs help another singer achieve success. But he never loses his love for Ninette who is the inspiration for his songs.
