Just as Celeste is about to go out on a date, a total stranger turns up at her house and claims he has a contract signed by her father that gave him the right to board and lodgings in his house for five years. Although, her father was now dead, the contract was still valid for two more years. Celeste's boyfriends don't like the situation, but soon she discovers that, despite his cynical appearance, he is a musician with a heart of gold.
