Maggie is refused admittance to a press conference for a lawyer who is running to be Chicago's attorney-general because Chit-Chat magazine has a reputation for sensationalism to please its gossipy readers. Angry at the way he treated her, she decides follow him to Wincower to get the dirt on him and a blonde she saw him with. But instead Maggie finds herself falling in love with him.
