Selena's attempts to manage stars fail until an unknown she rejects confronts her about her old-fashioned ways. She uses the last of her money to transform herself into the 'manager in a mini-skirt' and within two years makes a name for herself in show business. When that unknown from two years ago starts to make it big, she sets out to sign him, but the only contract he is interested in with her is a marriage contract.
