When Carol walks into a bar and sees Sue kissing Bill, she leaves without giving Bill a chance to explain. Sue had warned Carol that she would take Bill away from her and Carol didn't want Sue to humiliate her further so she decided to leave town. Attempting to hitchhike to visit her aunt, she encounters men willing to help her, but they make unwelcome advances in return.
