State troopers investigating an apparent alien landing track the being to a diner where a small group of bus passengers is stranded in a blizzard. Suspicion falls on one after another until they get word that the bus can leave. Before long one of the passengers returns, confessing to the counterman that he is a Martian, and that he has just killed the troopers and the bus passengers in preparation for a Martian invasion. The counterman reveals that he is Venusian, that the Venusians have already colonized the Earth in secret, and that they have destroyed the Martian invasion en route.
