Rocky Lane arrives in a frontier town to investigate a corrupt land agent named Cyril Bearde, who's been selling settlers worthless desert land while keeping the truly fertile valleys for himself. When Rocky discovers the scheme and helps the desperate settlers reclaim the land they actually paid for, Bearde's operation comes crashing down—but not before a tense confrontation forces the crooked agent to face the consequences of his greed.
