Rocky Lane, a U.S. Marshal operating undercover, investigates horse rustling around Turango County where the sheriff's hands are full. In "The Devil's Hoof," rustlers led by a man named Hombre steal horses from the Devil's Hoop Ranch, and Rocky must go undercover to infiltrate the gang and recover the stolen animals. Later, in "The Dead Man's Revenge," Rocky encounters a dead man in his cabin and learns from the marshal that a man named Akers may be involved in counterfeiting, leading Rocky to stake out a stamp shop to catch the culprit.

Rocky Lane arrives in a frontier town where a man has seemingly fallen to his death from a hotel window, his body smelling of whiskey—a detail that doesn’t add up to the local sheriff or the townsfolk. As the secret marshal, Rocky takes up residence in the very room the man fell from, determined to uncover the truth behind the so-called accident, especially after learning the victim was a respected rancher with no history of drinking.

0.5 pp · Humor, Western-Frontier

Sagebrush is disappointed he can't attend the dance because the woman he planned to take was taken to the hospital—alone, which he jokes is because she was "too cute for wards." Meanwhile, Gopherface recounts his failed attempt to fall asleep by counting sheep, only to stay awake long enough to brew coffee, prompting a surprised reaction.

Good Night!

A young man, Webb, claims he saw a dead body in his cabin, but when the body vanishes, others doubt him—until a mysterious figure arrives and begins unraveling the truth. The story builds toward a dramatic confrontation where loyalty, guilt, and justice collide in the dusty streets of a frontier town.
