Rocky Lane and his stallion Black Jack must recover stolen broncos that were taken from the Indians and return them to their rightful owners. When tricky settlers deny stealing the horses and claim the Indians will starve without them, Rocky pursues the thieves across the range. After a confrontation with the rustlers and a stampede, Rocky manages to drive the wild bronco herd directly toward the outlaws, trampling them and forcing them to flee, ensuring the horses are returned to the Indians as promised.
