Rocket Raccoon and Groot #10
Issue ten of this Civil War II–era series arrives with a cover by David López that practically crackles with kinetic energy: Rocket Raccoon blazes away with an oversized weapon, a snarling Groot looms large overhead, a white-suited sword-and-gun-wielding woman charges forward, and a wide-eyed civilian scrambles to get out of the way. The sheer chaos of that quartet — fur, bark, blades, and blasts all in motion — sets a wonderfully chaotic tone that matches the story's delightfully absurd title, "Y'Alls Well That Ends Well." With Nick Kocher writing and Michael Walsh and Michael Garland handling interior art and color, this closing chapter of the Bad Southern Pun Trilogy looks like a genuinely fun ride through Marvel's 2016 cosmic corner.
