This 2014 Dynamite crossover event brings together two beloved animated universes in one gripping package. The cover by Tommy Yune places a determined, bearded warrior at the center — shielding a wide-eyed young blonde girl with one arm while raising a clawed gauntlet defiantly against a blazing inferno, as a white Veritech fighter jet streaks through the chaos above and a grieving figure kneels among gravestones in the background. Writers Tommy Yune and Bill Spangler clearly aren't pulling punches with this second issue, and the cover's atmosphere of desperate protection amid destruction sets a compelling tone for the collision of the Robotech and Voltron worlds.
