“Robosaur”

Marvel's RoboCop series takes a wild prehistoric turn in issue #7, as the cover — penciled by Lee Sullivan and inked by Kim DeMulder — places the armored future of law enforcement face-to-face with an enormous dinosaur at what appears to be "Detroit Dino Park." Gun drawn and completely unfazed, RoboCop delivers his trademark deadpan warning — "Extinct or alive… you are coming with me!" — while the massive reptile looms around him on all sides. Writer Alan Grant and artist Lee Sullivan clearly had a blast pairing the chrome-plated cop with something considerably older than crime itself.
