Despite the implied danger, the boys explore Shadar Logoth. They come across Mordeth who offers to split treasure with him, but Rand spots his lack of a shadow and avoids his trap. When they return Moiraine hears mention of Mordeth and checks they he did not give them anything. Eventually, trollocs are driven into the city, forcing the party to venture further into the dangers of the night in Shadar Logoth.
