This anthology issue features two stories: a "Rivets" comic strip in which a resourceful dog leads a group of children in competitive games, attempting to be first at everything, and "The Little Hound," a prose story about a man and boy searching for a lost hunting dog named Kate through the woods, following distant baying sounds through the night until they locate her in a stand of oak trees.
