Two red-haired figures — one in a dark jacket, one in flowing white robes — share the cover of this fourth volume in Rumiko Takahashi's supernatural series, their contrasting attire hinting at very different roles in the world between life and death. The subtitle Circle of Reincarnation sets the spiritual stakes neatly, and Takahashi's crisp, expressive linework gives both characters a charged, watchful presence. A fine installment in one of her more inventive ongoing series from Shogakukan's Sunday Comics line.
