Volume 25 of Rumiko Takahashi's Kyōkai no Rinne puts its red-haired protagonist front and center, his expression caught somewhere between exasperation and determination as another character holds up a gleaming gold card — whatever that card means, it's clearly the source of some friction. Takahashi's clean, expressive linework keeps the comedic tension alive even on a simple two-figure cover, a hallmark of her storytelling sensibility.
