This special Le Lombard volume puts the spotlight squarely on Rik Ringers himself, with Tibet's clean, confident linework presenting the blond hero front and center in his trademark trench coat, pistol in hand — every bit the cool-headed agent readers have come to admire. A smaller inset image offers a glimpse of a younger Rik astride a classic red scooter, hinting at the "Zijn Jonge Jaren" (His Young Years) premise that gives this 1997 special its distinct retrospective flavor. It's a handsome showcase for one of Belgian comics' most dependable thriller series.
