Rick and Morty vs. the Universe: Last Mort Standing #1 #1
In "Last Mort Standing!", Morty finds himself stranded in Marginworld—a bizarre, comic-book limbo where forgotten and discarded versions of himself wander as echoes of what might have been. With only the mysterious Holy Gold Key as his ticket out, he must survive the surreal wasteland of rejected Mortys and uncover the truth behind his own erasure from the universe. Written by Daniel Kibblesmith and Alex Firer, with art by Fred C. Stresing and colors by Meg Casey, this wild journey is brought to life with sharp, chaotic energy, and the cover by Dave Bardin captures the issue’s defiant, off-panel absurdity.
