Rick and Morty vs. Dungeons & Dragons #4
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe grand finale of Rick and Morty vs. Dungeons & Dragons arrives with issue #4, and Troy Little's cover perfectly captures the chaotic charm of this Adult Swim/IDW crossover — the Smith family decked out in full fantasy gear, with Summer wielding a warhammer and shield, Jerry skulking in a hooded rogue's cloak, Morty dressed as an elf ranger with a quiver of arrows, Beth draped in a wizard's robes, and a wide-eyed Rick strumming what appears to be a lute amid dungeon-tavern surroundings. The whole crew looks equal parts panicked and determined, which feels exactly right for a story subtitled "Reap the Whirlwind." With Patrick Rothfuss and Jim Zub at the writing helm and Little handling both pencils and inks, this 2018 closer to the miniseries promises the same delightful collision of sci-fi absurdity and classic tabletop adventure that made the run so entertaining.
