About this Collection

This second compendium collects the middle stretch of Oni Press's flagship Rick and Morty comic series, gathering issues from the run that continues the adventures of the mad scientist and his grandson across multiple dimensions. It includes story arcs that expand on the show's universe while maintaining the signature blend of sci-fi satire and crude humor, featuring original tales that complement the animated series.

In "Don't Look a Gift-Horse in the Rick," Summer finds herself overwhelmed by the chaos of a high-pressure retail job, cleaning up after a relentless stream of frustrated customers. With the store closed and the mess mounting, she calls on a squad of Meeseeks to help—but their efficiency comes with a twist that quickly spirals beyond her control. Written and illustrated by Marc Ellerby, this issue delivers a sharp, character-driven story with a touch of surreal humor, all framed by Fred C. Stresing’s dynamic cover.
