Poor little rich boy Richie Rich has met his match in this 1979 Harvey issue — on the cover, a menacing villain called the "Hot and Cold Running Man" blasts streams of freezing and melting energy from a doorway, simultaneously icing Richie's stack of cash and liquefying his gold bar right before the stunned boy's eyes. The villain's boastful speech bubble — "I will freeze your cash and melt your gold!" — sets up the chilling (and scorching) premise of "The Iceman Returneth" with gleeful cartoon menace. It's a fun, inventive cover that plays Richie's fabulous wealth as the perfect target for a uniquely two-powered foe.
