Only Richie Rich could make lunchtime this delightfully absurd — on the cover of this 1979 Harvey Comics gem, a rotund chef cheerfully slices bologna into dollar-sign shapes while a wide-eyed Richie looks on in delight, his red bow tie as crisp as ever. In the background, a red-haired girl holds up a sandwich and two kids react with amusement, all set against the lush grounds of what appears to be the Rich estate, with the chef exclaiming "Ah! A baloney san-DOUGH-wich!" At 52 pages for just 50 cents, this Warren Kremer–covered issue packs in plenty of the warm, silly charm that made Richie Rich a staple of kids' reading throughout the 1970s.
