Gloria receives a ton of flowers from Richie, which is supposed to be for his mom. He tries to explain this but Gloria was too angry to listen, which made him mad at her for not giving him a chance. However, Freckles was sent by Gloria to tell him to phone her, leading Richie to believe that Gloria has forgiven him. Unfortunately, he doesn't have a dime to make a phone call. When Richie got a dime to call Gloria, it turns out that she wasn't done scolding him when her mother called.
