In an effort to set a world record in something, Mrs. Rich makes a dress and coat out of diamonds. Her wardrobe is so heavy that she sinks into a soft spot in the ground, and when a crane lifts her out she is accidentally dropped over a rocky cliff. Freckles and Pee Wee happen to be walking by and pick up a bucket full of diamonds that fell off the dress, and they set a world record for picking up the most diamonds in 10 minutes.
