Only Richie Rich could turn a party into a spectacle of sheer opulence — and that's exactly the vibe radiating from this 1969 Harvey Comics issue. The cover shows Richie wielding a golden ice cream scoop, dispensing a glowing, dollar-sign-studded scoop onto a stack of money-layered cakes held by a wide-eyed red-haired boy, while a whole crowd of kids waits in line behind an enormous tiered birthday cake. It's a cheerful, only-in-Richie-Rich scene that captures everything endearing about "The Poor Little Rich Boy" at his generous, eccentric best.
