Rex Morgan investigates a supposed cancer specialist whose miraculous treatments and glowing testimonials seem too good to be true—but when Morgan attempts to expose the fraud, the "Professor" turns the tables, using Morgan's own undercover visit against him to win over a desperate patient. As Mrs. Wicks becomes entangled in the quack's dangerous scheme, Morgan races against time to prevent tragedy from striking at the hands of a man willing to do anything to protect his con.
