Rewild #[nn]

From writer Devin Grayson and artist Yana Adamovic comes Rewild, a 2021 Dark Horse graphic novel whose cover immediately signals something special. Two faces — one gazing upward through imagery of industrial smokestacks and urban sprawl, the other downward through lush waterways and verdant life — are rendered in a gorgeous double-exposure style, with small fantastical creatures (a moth, a lizard, a tiny winged figure) drifting between them. Adamovic's painterly cover art alone makes a compelling case for this story of humanity's relationship with the natural world, and Brian K. Vaughan's enthusiastic blurb ("Very highly recommended") only adds to the anticipation.
