Resident Evil #6
The "Fear Fraught Finale!" banner says it all — this sixth and final issue of WildStorm's Resident Evil series arrives in February 2011 with a cover by Jheremy Raapack that packs in every ounce of desperate, guns-blazing tension. A red-haired woman in tactical gear and a bearded male soldier stand back-to-back atop a mound of reaching, rotting zombies, both firing automatic weapons as grotesque mutant creatures close in from every direction. It's a vivid, kinetic send-off to Ricardo Sánchez and Raapack's run on the series, promising the kind of chaotic, survival-on-the-edge energy the title has delivered throughout.
